Re: Darby Weaver

The lines of public/private are blurred these days. A combination of social
media and reality TV make people think their whole lives should be on
display for all to judge. only g~d has this responsibility to pass
judgement.

This list is both a blessing and a curse. Many who use it have quickly
forgotten the rules. Some use it for commercial gain, are not CCIE, and do
not have a CCIE lab booked in next 6 months.

What is appropriate for this list? Who should be on it? The rules say one
thing. Through the years I have seen another. Not judging has kept me
around. Trying to help prospects and get some exposure to the larger
community has kept me here. Getting support from mentors has kept me here.

This email is a ralley for support. Unfortunately this is not the forum to
answer such a cry for help. Conversely it also shouldn't end up full of
polarized judgements from the personal accusations.

Best of luck to all for this coming new year. Realizing none of us are
perfect beings, let's continue to support candidates in their pursuit and
keep judgements aside.
