Hi all

i have uploaded an image and i have done verification .

core1#verify cat4500-entservicesk9-mz.122-54.SG1.bin
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
Verified cat4500-entservicesk9-mz.122-54.SG1.bin
SV-TS202-BB1#

1) what does this verification mean ? does it mean that checksum is
ok ?

or is it safe now to delete old image and reload so that it
boots with this image.

this is cat4506..

2) i have tried to set boot preference to new image ..but still it is
booting with old image ..
core1#show run | in boot
boot system flash bootflash:cat4500-entservicesk9-mz.122-54.SG1.bin

the issue is boot command is excepting any thing i type and not verifying
 its syntax..

core1(config)#boot system flash abc
core1(config)#

what is the correct syntax .
