Cisco has introduced Catalyst 3850 w/embedded WLC. WLC's now work together
providing mobility at access w/out tunneling back to central controller. It
is known as converged wireless access (CWA). Also available in sup 8 on
4500 series. Intent is to gaurantee no bottlenecks for wifi traffic and
improve application visiblity.

All sorts of new terms and design introduced w/CWA. Your use case was
genesis for this go to market strategy. Unicast me for more information.
