Hello Jay, thank you for this. I read the entire Cisco document. It seems
that there is an inclination towards running IPSec with GRE for better
performance. However, I am trying to find a working piece of config for a
PE-CE setup via a service provider could.

My situation is, I have a headend router running at 20Mbps and 5 branches
running 4Mbps each via a service provider could with only Layer 2 access.
There is IPSec tunnels between each branch and the headend router. I am
trying to provision each branch to shape based on different classes of
service.

I am hoping there is a working model out there in Cisco world that I can
refer to :) But it seems that I will need to LAB this to find out
firsthand.
