Making area 50 a stub would not make any difference. Now, if you made your
other areas (1 and 2) totally stubby areas or totally NSSA , the ABRs for
areas 1 and 2 would not inject the O IA prefixes into those areas. That is
a more subtle way to do it...but using area filter-list like Marko
suggested I believe would be the best way.
