Wish someone had told me this before I started CCIE study -- if you're
going to be using GNS3 for your routers, invest $100 in RAM and load all
7200s. There are no interface driver issues, no oddities in IOS that I've
found, etc. Multicast works well (when 'no ip mroute-cache' is
configured). When I upgraded to 16G of RAM and switched to all 7200s, I
suddenly didn't have to troubleshoot GNS3 anymore.
