Hi,

You're peering in VPNv4 AF, however you're with the generic command "show
bgp summary" you're only looking for IPv4 unicast sessions. Since you
aren't peering IPv4 unicast you won't see anything.

Try:

show bgp vpnv4 unicast summary

RP/0/0/CPU0:XR2#show bgp vpnv4 unicast summary
Mon Mar 25 17:41:50.397 SGT
BGP router identifier 20.20.20.20, local AS number 100
BGP generic scan interval 60 secs
BGP table state: Active
Table ID: 0x0 RD version: 4
BGP main routing table version 1
BGP scan interval 60 secs

BGP is operating in STANDALONE mode.

Process RcvTblVer bRIB/RIB LabelVer ImportVer SendTblVer
 StandbyVer
Speaker 1 0 0 0 0

Neighbor Spk AS MsgRcvd MsgSent TblVer InQ OutQ Up/Down
 St/PfxRcd
