Just remember that if you choose vPC as the DCI, you *are* extending STP between the DC sites. The same goes for VSS, which is essentially just glorified StackWise. This is not necessarily a show stopper to span your STP, but it does have design implications. You may consider running MST to collapse your STP instances if you aren't already, which simplifies the control plane topology. The other option like I mentioned in to run OTV which will terminate the STP domain locally.
