Would add screen and packet captures but do not have internet access except for my blackberry.
Just as Nabrik suggested. Connect two routers together in GNS3 and run the protocols...GNS3 comes with wireshark these days, so you can easily see their respective TTLs from the packet captures.
Will update with packet captures once I get internet access for my laptop anyway.
