RE: L2VPN/pseudowire inter-AS option C

Is the targeted LDP session up between the L2VPN endpoints? Do P2AS1 and P2AS2 have static /32 host routes configured for the connected addresses they're doing IPv4+BGP Label exchange on? What happens when you traceroute between the endpoints of the xconnect?

Subject: L2VPN/pseudowire inter-AS option C

Hello Experts!

Im labbing some L2VPN/pseudowire inter-AS option C but Im having some
issues making this work. Here is the setup:

CE1---P1AS1---P2AS1------P2AS2---P1AS2---CE2

P2AS1 and P2AS2 are running eBGP IPv4+Labels and the p2p/pseudowire between
P1AS1 and P2AS2 is up, however I cant ping between the CEs.

RP/0/0/CPU0:P1AS1#show l2vpn xc
Wed Mar 6 17:31:58.675 UTC
Legend: ST = State, UP = Up, DN = Down, AD = Admin Down, UR = Unresolved,
SB = Standby, SR = Standby Ready, (PP) = Partially Programmed

XConnect Segment 1 Segment 2
Group Name ST Description ST Description
       ST
------------------------ -----------------------------
-----------------------------
C1 P1 UP Gi0/0/0/0 UP 7.7.7.7
1 UP
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------

So the end to end LSP looks fine, the p2p is up but no connection between
the CEs. Here is the l2vpn and interface config:

RP/0/0/CPU0:P1AS1#sh run l2vpn
Wed Mar 6 17:39:27.114 UTC
l2vpn
 xconnect group C1
  p2p P1
   interface GigabitEthernet0/0/0/0
   neighbor ipv4 7.7.7.7 pw-id 1

RP/0/0/CPU0:P1AS1#sh run int gig0/0/0/0
Wed Mar 6 17:39:33.033 UTC
interface GigabitEthernet0/0/0/0
 l2transport
 !
!

When I ping between CE routers I see the input packet count incrementing on
Gig0/0/0/0 for both P1AS1 and P1AS2, but the packets aren't flowing across
the vc

RP/0/0/CPU0:P1AS1#sh int gig0/0/0/0 | include "packets input"
Wed Mar 6 17:43:14.028 UTC
20 packets input <-- Packets incrementing when sending packets from
CE1 to CE2

I will only have this lab setup like this for today so any thoughts are
appreciated!!

Thanks
