I wounder first of all how come this command switchport trunk you mean
switchport mode trunk and this is the operational mode of the port and this
is the key if u left the trunk configs and put "sw mo acc" it will be
operating as a access port any by the way to catch the
port operational mode use the command " sh int f 0/X switchport command "
and you will found the required data
