I know this isn't often heard but I recommend that one studies the night
before.
I studied until 9 PM the night before the exam in the hotel.
The next morning, the BGP feature I had studied the night before was on the
lab and I configured it in a flash.
The studying the night before helped in my case.
Maybe it will help you as well.
Not saying to study until 1 or 2 AM but studying and getting a good night's
sleep.
