Have you not selected a vendor and purchased their workbooks? INE, IPExpert, or Narbik are suggested.

If you cannot purchase vendor workbooks, google CCIE BGP and you'll find a couple of blogs with helpful layouts. If you have GNS or IOU, that helps keep your cost down.

I'm sure you have the basics down already, but I would lab up 3 routers in a triangle with iBGP or 6 routers (2x3) with eBGP and iBGP on the back side. Understand the simple gotchas of iBGP non-full mesh, and eBGP multi-hop.

I believe BGP to be the best dynamic routing protocol and I could go on for days about its intricacies as well as marvels. I'm sure a lot of others would agree, but not all.

Let us know if you have other questions (after you have labbed up and tested out things for yourself) so we can help you along.

Welcome to the group.
