I Apologize to Everyone

Deal all,

I apologize to you all for having to go through what you go through
every time you ask an interesting question on GroupStudy.

This used to be a place where technical discussions happened, where
opinions were freely exchanged and where I learned many things to
start my network engineering career (I am a subscriber since 1998, if
memory serves me).

GroupStudy no longer appears to be such a place.

It has become a place where bickering, false advertising, name calling
and "vendor warfare" are the norm. And I'm part of the problem. I have
the feeling that technical contributions by someone like me (an
instructor) are no longer possible. It has become a place where
opinions and grandioseness replaced engineering skills. It has become
a place where "here's the lab" replaced "let me test this, here are my
results - what do you think".

It's a said time to be a GroupStudy subscriber. I envy you all on your
upcoming study and engineering journeys.

Have the very best holiday season.

Kindest regards,
Marko.
