after my ccie I sort of 'retired' for almost 9 months I had this sense of
accomplishment that I figured entitled me to some rest and other areas of
my life needed some urgent attention too. Two months ago i slowly started
coming back in by preparing for SP (additional routers for the lab, a bunch
of books and VOD's), taking up some consulting/training gigs then generally
catching up with whatever the industry has been up to while I was away (not
much). Either way it was awesome just unplugging from the cli - saved $$ on
power bills too:-) and I feel ready for something new'msh.
