Re: TS section guidelines

1) You MUST resolve the issue with the configuration as opposed to
removing the configuration. Example: R1 can't ping R6. Finds out it's
an OSPF authentication issue between two routers in the transit path. You
need to resolve the OSPF authentication issue between these two routers as
opposed to removing OSPF authentication. This logic is along the same
lines of our new auto-graded troubleshooting labs. Here is an excerpt from
our guidelines:

* Points are awarded for finding and resolving faults in the topology. An
inserted fault is an introduced break for a scenario that was previously
working. Depending on the scenario, fixing inserted faults could require
one or more commands on the same or multiple devices.

You should find similar wording in the real lab.

2) Ten tickets total. Eight 2 point tickets and two 3 point tickets. You
can miss two tickets as along as they are both not 3 point tickets. Miss
a 2 and another 2 = Pass. Miss a 2 and a 3 = Pass. Miss a 3 and another
3 = Fail. Miss more than 2 tickets = Fail.

3) Yes. If you finish TS early you can move right into the configuration
section and the unused TS time will be added to the configuration
section's time.

Also as an FYI the passing score isn't 80% on the R&S lab. It's actually
slightly less.
