The XR devices are 12000series GSR, actual devices, the rest as I
understand are virtualized. You can learn 75% or more of this track
using dynamips with 7200's to build your core strength. I purchased
somewhere along the lines of 50 hours worth of XR time from
gigavelocity and did labs with a mix of IOS and XR, and some labs
completely XR. I used the example lab from Zhou and built upon that to
make it more difficult using my own labs prior to any vendors
releasing labs. INE has released some labs just about the time I was
going. I used INE to study for both formats. I passed this lab May
1st, was glad to see the OEQ's gone as they tripped me up on the
version 2.0 format:
