I think that means chip and pin cards won't work. If you have to enter your cvv2/pin number after swiping then that card won't work for them. I would just try your card and see if it works, that's really the only way to find out.

Thank you for contacting Cisco Certification & Communities Support.
My name is Jennifer O., and I am the owner of your case 01337538.
You may enter any card with the Visa, Mastercard, or American Express logo.
However, our current system does not allow credit card CVV security codes to be entered when submitting CCIE lab exam payments. Please contact your bank for more details. If possible, please submit your lab payment using a credit card that does not require a CVV security code for online payments.
To submit credit card information for your CCIE lab payment you will need to visit your CCIE profile at http://www.cisco.com/go/scheduleccie. Once you have logged in, please click on the credit card logos located next to the lab exam or select Online Credit Card Payment from the left-hand navigation bar. You will then have the ability to submit your credit card details for your CCIE lab exam payment.
Credit card payments may take up to 10 business days to fully process.
