MPLS TE is definitely a key topic for the CCIE SPv3 Lab Exam, and also for practical implementation for SP networks in an HA environment. The MPLS TE section from INE's SPv3 ATC is freely available here at http://ine.co/mplste

It covers MPLS TE theory and MPLS TE configuration on both IOS and IOS XR, as well as MPLS TE FRR, which is really the "killer app" of TE.
