OT: SPv3 Preparation Questions

for the SP exam (without breaking the NDA), does it matter which options
one uses or is it ok as long as the requirements are met? I've heard people
say you should get rid of unused configs like descriptions, aliases,
metric/cost of links etc.

Also, is notepad accessible? I believe putty is the new software for
console access and no longer SecureCRT?

Last question - would we have access to a Terminal server or will it be a
case of opening up all the routers in putty (I hate opening up like 30
putty sessions at the same time)
