If Cisco cared they would have different tests in different regions and more variety to the tests. Yes it's about making money. No they don't care enough to even try to prevent it. Yes the value of CCIE is diminishing, and yes this is why. There are tons of people passing, and many that are weak. An abundance of CCIE's with a chance that some don't know what they heck they are doing = less value no matter how you cut it.
