Dude,
John Chambers cant download IOS without a service contract for the item he wants to download.
A CCIE has ZERO access to anything accept the CCIE store and the forums.
You fell for an urban legend... another is that CCIE's get preferential treatment when calling tac.
We don't...
I get the same 19 year old in Hong Kong who transfers my case to Australia to someone who DOES NOT have the case notes I sent hours earlier.
Wonder why Cisco's stock is flat for 10 years???
Anything that was going to happen at the company happened a LOOOONNGG LONGGG time ago man.

Subject: CCIE with no access to downloads?
Hi All
I attained my number a few months ago and always thought that I would have full access to download any IOS from the cisco.com website after I attain my CCIE number.
Well I don't, I don't have access to download any IOS and work colleagues laugh at the fact that a CCIE has no access lol.
Your thoughts? Is a CCIE meant to have full access to download anything?
