Thanks. Finally, I have got the concept right. ASBRs (R3 and R2) will not
have any election. For EIGRP external routes (170), if R3 is the first to
redistribute, R2 will accept the OSPF routes from R3 since it has higher
admin distance (110) and its routing table will flush out its EIGRP
external (170) routes and thus will not be able ro redistribute the routes
back to R3. This process of operation will happen similarly if R2 is the
first to redistribute. So, it is a matter on the order of operation
process. Thanks for the enlightenment.
Data plane path calculation will be base on advertising router and FA if
present to the ASBR.
