Damn!! That was poetic, yet accurately summed up the time I am missing
with kids and family to "master" the topics. My biggest professional
fear is making the mistake of talking smack to the wrong person, who
will then take great pride and joy and making a clown out of me which I
would rightfully deserve.

Really I hope this is a joke, if so haha. If this is not a joke, then
'what are you thinking'; or better yet when you get your CCIE number
please let us all know.

Un-freaking believable. I just had a Marine Corp drill instructor
jumping around in my head, yelling at the top of his lungs screaming
something about.... "this is my number, there are many like it, but this
is mine, my CCIE number is my best friend, I must master it as I master
my life, my CCIE number, without me, is useless,. Without my CCIE number
I am useless.. I must get my CCIE true. I must study harder than my
fellow engineers who are trying to beat me to my CCIE . I must beat
him/her to the CCIE before they beat me... I will

My CCIE and myself know that what counts in this world is not endless
hours we spent, the noise our routers and switches make. We know that
it is the knowledge and pride that count. We will get it..

My CCIE is human, even as I, because getting my CCIE is my life. Thus,
I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's
strength, it's parts, it's accessories, routes and protocols. I will
keep my CCIE number clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We
will become part of each other ... We will Before God, I swear this
creed. My CCIE and myself are the defenders of my being. We are the
masters of those who Cheat and lie. We are the Saviors of my life.

So be it, until victory is Mine and there are no more whining sniveling,
cheating CCIE wannabe's,, but peace!
