Dear Experts,

I'm new to wireless, hence need your assistance/guidance on this. I
need to design a redundant WLC (5508 X 2) solution. The network has 2
core switches. These 2 switches are interconnected with a L3 ether
channel and runs purely on L3 (access to core and core to core). The
network has 60 AP's. Below are the questions I have.

1. If I connect each WLC to each core switch, will I need to create a
layer 2 trunk between the 2 core switches to maintain same WLAN/VLAN's
on both the switches while running HSRP between the VLAN's.

2. Is there another way to maintain L3 interconnection between core
switches and have WLC redundancy in the network. In this case how can
I maintain WLAN/VLAN consistency between the 2 WLC and core switches ?

Rgds
