7200 is always a good choice for WAN edge as it has a Port Adapter for basically every interface you could ever need.

Remember that performance goes down as you add features. If you check the release notes for NM-1T3/E3 you'll see that lower platforms like 2800 can only do sub-rate (i.e. not full T3/E3/DS3 line rate), 3825 can only do line rate with no features, but 3845 can do line rate plus features.
