Hi Jack,
There is no Spanning-Tree instance for the N2Ks, all ports are considered
to be Edge ports..so if you connect one switch like you did a loop is going
to form for sure.
N2Ks are designed to be top-of-rack server connectivity aggregators, they
are not meant to connect to other active network equipments.
