I thought so too. I could've sworn I used 3640's back in 2003 when studying
for ccip mpls test. I guess I did.

If you are looking for other uses of 3640's, I'm pretty sure I used it for
CME back in 2003 too. "telephony-service" or something like that,
ephone-dn's , etc as I recall.

You can do MPLS with the right code, I use them in my home lab for MPLS
