Hello,
I'm also working on different OS platforms and for quick drawings I use
lucidchart.com. It has the Cisco stencils and the paid version allow you
to export also to Visio format. OK, you're still related to Visio, but
what can you do... For free you can save in pdf, png and jpeg.
It's not really an alternative as you are bound to Internet connection.
Anyway I get a strange feeling whenever I go to a meeting and start a
different software that everybody is used yo (like microsoft word vs
openoffice). Somehow like everybody is judging and asking..."now what's
wrong with this guy?" :)
The same vith this Visio. You can do great drawings in another software,
but if nobody can open them and most important maybe re-edit those
papers is useless.
Cheers,
Calin C.
