I haven't found XE that much different than 15.x. In fact, I believe the
most current version (XE 3.something) is based on 15.[0-1]. Syntax is
almost the same, however there are some hardware specific syntax that is
different.
NX-OS is a completely different beast. It's basically based off of SanOS
(from the MDS for you Storage folks out there). I absolutely love it in how
they've allowed you utilize underlying Linux functions like diff, gzip,
grep, egrep, less, sed, etc. I believe my favorite feature is the XML api
that comes with NX-OS. Makes tasks across multiple boxes a breeze!
