Many ones reply to your question very well... I'll not be repetitive. I
like to make only two comments:
- With RSVP label distribution you cannot hide your backbone by disabling
TTL Propagation. Clients in L3 VPNs will see core router when do traceroute.
- Take a look at the two first chapters of MPLS Enabled Applications by Ina
Minei and Julian Lucek[1]. This will be an amazing read and you will have a
clear comparation between RSVP and LDP.
