The Cisco 3825 has a BCM1125H 500 MHz single core processor. The Cisco
3845 has a BCM1250 650 MHz dual-core processor.

Both platforms support 1GB memory.

The 3825 is capable of 350kpps and the 3845 is capable of 500kpps.

In th epast, I have used both of these routers as a WAN Edge with a
full bgp table (using 1GB memory).
