Module comes with the memory, if you have an SSP-20, you need an IPS SSP-20. No mixing. The SSP insertion is not OIR, so you'll need some downtime or failover.

Right now the firewall/VPN SSP pricing is out of whack. If you need to upgrade in the future, it's cheaper to get the chassis bundled with the SSP, rather than a spare SSP.

Licensing is done through the IPS SVC SmartNet.
