Hi Everyone,
I failed my first attempt in Sydney just under 2 weeks ago. I got about
60% in troubleshooting, and about 70% in the config section.
I think If I had felt better about the troubleshooting section I would
have tried harder in the config section. I found it really hard to put
in 100% after knowing I'd already failed the exam.
I went up to Sydney a few days before, but left my cpap equipment at
home. Great a few days of bad sleep... I'm not using that as an excuse
for failing, but it didn't help.
The troubleshooting section was pretty fair.
Things that tripped me up/slowed me down:
* I spent too long on a particular question (without realizing it), and
ran short of time to complete the last question, clearly in the process
I rushed another question or two and missed a point.
* Forgetting about the devices that maybe weren't on the diagram I was
looking at.
* Not realizing there were more diagrams until 20 mins in.
* Not being familiar enough with the environment
* Not being alert enough
* Fearing the exam
The config section was fairly easy, I just found it hard to give it my
all. I finished the config section with 40 mins to spare (and went over
it again until time up), but feel I could have finished much quicker.
I've booked in for a second attempt early December.
Cheers
Leigh
