Re: Too old to do CCIE ?

40 here. Still studying when I can. I have successfully failed every
version of the test including the original two day hands on where you
had to cable crap up. I am PROUD of that. Most folks never even take the
lab. Don't let the volume of threads on this list fool you. We are a
SMALL community. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever pass. But then I
remember two very important things:

1 experience does not equal CCIE and CCIE does not equal experience
2 studying 20-40 hours extra a month on top of your regular job may not
make you a CCIE but it does sharpen your skillset.

In other words, you are never too old. And your studies can do nothing
but help you.
