You are only the second person to bring this topic up over the last 12
months on GS so if I was going to the CCIE lab soon I would assume I would
not get FPM. That being said it's something we include in our Volume I
workbook as you can never tell what you will or will not get in the lab.
Additionally it's good to know for the real world.

My recommendation:
Understand the topic. Configure it once or twice. Know where it's
documented. Move on with your life ;-)
