By default, a tunnel uses the TE metric. However, when the administrative
weight is NOT configured, the TE metric uses the IGP metric. When you
configure the Administrative Weight, the TE metric will use this number in
it's calculation instead of the IGP metric. Either way, the AutoRoute
Announce command used for classifying traffic into a tunnel, will flood this
metric to the rest of the the TE Topology using the OPAQUE LSA or the New
Style TLV in ISIS.
You were confusing me when you "COMPARED" Autoroute Announce with
Administrative Weight.
