Re: High CPU load on 7609

First thing I would check is whatever network monitoring tools you have
(hopefully you do!). Do you see any Multicast/Unicast spikes in Bps or PPS,
that would correlate to when this started?

Check if large amounts of packets are hitting cpu. There could be many
reasons for this! Unreachables, fragments, RPF failures, etc....

These commands are very useful and can give you some clues:

show ibc
show ip traffic
show int stats
show cef not-cef-switched
show cef drop
