Yes! There are definitely some issues with Multicast in Dynamips! I also
find that sending extended volumes of traffic (pings with high repeat
counts) will screw things up. Eventually I have to reload the entire
topology. This is why I limit my multicast ping tests to around 5-10 pings
at a time. Not a big deal because thats all it really takes to test
Multicast routing.
