Re: Catalyst 3500XM for R&S Lab practice

3524XL is a layer 2 switch and you will miss 90% of the needed functions. The minimum should be a Cisco 3550 (with the EMI image), but you still lose some QoS and private-vlan abilities. 3560 is recommended.
