Securing MPLS LDP

Is there any practical difference between specifying the neighbor
password in LDP

mpls ldp nei 20.20.20.5 password cisco

and setting the fallback password?

mpls ldp password required
mpls ldp password fallback cisco

If not restricted would you use the second method since it seems
faster than worrying about individual neighbors?
