Re: NMS SOFTWARE

Here's another vote for Solarwinds. Yes it costs $$$ but nothing like HP's
offerings and it's cheap on the yearly maintenance in comparison. As has
been mentioned, knowing Linux is a great skillset but if you are not already
familiar with it, an NMS is perhaps not the best project to want to learn on
unless you are ready for a bumpy ride! Having a monitoring system go down
for something silly that you have to search for hours to fix gets
frustrating really quick....

Best of all, SW Orion runs on Windows.....
