In the scope of that question, yeah, I would. The question is asking for
an absolute, so you have to go to the lowest common denominator, and you
can't have telnet without a TCP connection.
Now, operationally speaking, yeah, I agree that Daniel's solution is the
better one, but I think the idea that the lab is not a realistic
simulation of real life solutions has been posited before :)
