Guys, I just wanted to thank ALL of you for your feedback.B What I take away
from this is the blade networks switch is buggy since it is not sending the
actual 'cease' code.B I'm in negotiations with the partner to have him
upgrade his code but I think the immediate solution is to use static routing
which he then requires pinging our interface.B For some reason this blade
networks switch requires to ping the gateway for static routes and he can't
figure out how to shut it off.B I think I'm just going to allow the icmp and
police itB to eliminate the headache.B I assume that if I police theB traffic
on a 4900M that it will be done in hardware and not affect the route processor
but I may need to open a tac case to find out.B
B
For those of you
interested, the blade configuration is minimal.B Timers of 60 and 180 were
configured and a neighbor statement.B Thats it.B Same thing on my side.B
B
You guys Rock!
B

Oh, nothing like that level of tuning available
on the blade. They do work fine with 1/3 timers though, at least in all
versions I have seen so far
