Thank you all for the private and public responses.

Regarding the books I used, I'd recommend reading Routing TCP/IP (Doyle) and
if you want some more (extra) fun; Cisco IP Routing (Zinin). Same thing goes
for MPLS Fundamentals and MPLS-Enabled Applications, and so on... But the
books you'd need will vary depending on your background and experience.

Regarding the vendors, I described on the blog post most of what I
used..probably more detailed on the description of my first attempt (
http://ccie-en-espanol.blogspot.com/2011/03/my-lab-experience.html), but I
would also follow the blogs of a couple of them, I paid close attention to
the answers their instructors would provide here in groupstudy, I attended
some free online sessions, watched some of their videos (
http://ccie-en-espanol.blogspot.com/2009/08/material-gratis.html), etc...
Just thankful they all exist so there's plenty of material to work with :)

Catching up at work and enjoying some family time now, aside from planning
how to tell my wife I'm going for SP now...
