Yes, the MSDP peer address can be different from the address which
terminates the BGP session.
Just make sure that when you do this, you specify the correct source
interface in the msdp peer statement.
Example:
R1: (loopback 10 is 1.1.1.1/32 advertised into BGP)
ip msdp peer 2.2.2.2 connect-source loopback 10
R2: (loopback 20 is 2.2.2.2/32 advertised into BGP)
ip msdp peer 1.1.1.1 connect-source loopback 20
