Hi Emir,

Depending upon which platform you enter this command the results may differ.
Generally speaking entering " no ip route-cache" will disable CEF switching
on the interface and process switch the packet. On some platforms the router
will drop back to the next preferred switching method. This is usually
CEF>Fast switching>Process switching.

You can verify the interfaces current switching method using the "sh ip int
gi x/x | i switching"

Changing the switching method can be handy if you want to run various debugs
which only displays traffic that has been switched by the processor.
