Re: Do the Looming Cisco Lay Offs Affect You?

I heard from the inside they are using this to clean out dead weight and
products. I wanna say there is 8500 open reqs in cisco that people can apply
for(last time I checked). Cisco is one of the best companies when it comes
to letting people go. They normally give you a good severance package then
they end up hiring you as a contractor where you end up making more money or
let you apply for one of the other open reqs. They actually try not to let
the good workers go. If you worked for a consulting firm you would get a
kick in the butt and the swinging of a door behind you whether you were good
or bad Scott and a lot of others can attest to that LOL JK.
