console server in lab

Hey guys,

I have my own lab and use a console server to access all the equipment. I
setup sessions from the console server and then use CTRL-SHIFT-6-X to move
around between the devices.

I can see a problem with this method however. I think it is advantageous to
have multiple windows up at once as sometimes you catch things (log messages
for example) and have more of an idea of what is going on within the
network. You can log but a lot of the time you won't check the logs unless u
need to.

You guys with lab equipment at home. How are you going about this? I do not
want to get to used to this console server method for the actual lab.
