Query--IPv6 Multicast and OSPF v2

Hi

I have two queries related to IPV6 multicast and ospf v2 timer.

1.In IPv6 multicast ; to get it work we configure ipv6 multicast routing in
global mode and then configure the ipv6 pim rp(static or BSR).I have not
seen per interface pim sparse mode enable as we do in ipv4.Also IGMP had
gone and we are having MLD.So question is when there is no config for pim at
the interface level so whenever a host want to join a group it sends mld
join to the first hop router. How this join message will reach to the RP(on
Shared tree) I mean is it a PIM join like IPV4 or its a MLD join which
travel hop by hop upto RP.

2. Second little query is about OSPF fast hellos. If we configure ip ospf
dead-interval minimal 4 then I can understand that hello time will be 250ms
and 4 hello missed OSPF neighborship will go down. But in the context
sensitive help we can make it as small as 20.in that case under sh ip ospf
interface it show hello time 50ms and dead time 1 sec.Now I dont understand
how many hellos will be missed before making the neighborship down. What
about that rule of 4.Is it the case where also the router have to miss 20
hellos before making the neighbor down as dead interval is still 1 sec.If
yes then please help me to understand significance of this.

Please have some time to answer this.

Regards
Sunil
